At Fendon’s we have a wide variety of quality furniture and mattress lines that we have carefully selected. Even if you don’t see what you are looking for on this website or in our store, ask us about it as we can often get special items for our customers and sometimes we’ll even take on a new line in order to help our customers find what they are looking for.

When selecting a line of furniture for our store, we always look for products from quality manufacturers that have style, are made well and have great features. We also look for manufacturers that will “stand behind” their products because no one and no company is always perfect. When we encounter the occasional legitimate warranty defect with a manufacturer’s product, we want to know that manufacturer is going to “make it right” for our customer.

Because we believe treating our customers with integrity and honesty is critical, we want to only work with manufacturers that feel the same way. We’ve been in business over 55 years because we do our best to totally satisfy each one of our customers. When there is a problem that is legitimately a manufacturer’s or our problem and not caused by our customer, we try to do whatever is necessary to totally resolve the problem and make sure our customer is completely happy with the solution.

Over the many years we have been in business, we have become the exclusive dealer in Inyo and Mono Counties for a number of industry leading furniture and mattress lines. In addition to those lines, we have many other lines of furniture too. In each case where we are the exclusive dealer, the manufacturers felt we were the most substantial store in the area and felt we could best represent their lines and service them. From our standpoint, we knew each of these lines had something special and unique to offer our customers. A Few Comments About Sleep and Mattress Technology

Most people will spend one quarter to one third of their lives in bed! Getting good rest allows us to re-charge for the next day and it is very important to our quality of life including our daily productivity and enjoyment of life. A quality mattress set that can conform to your individual shape while fully supporting you without creating pressure on your body is a critical part of getting a restful night’s sleep.

Additionally, a mattress set that that significantly reduces transfer of movement across the surface of the mattress allows two people to sleep more soundly on the same bed because their individual movements are less likely to awaken each other and disrupt their sleep.

Mitsubishi Big Screen High-Definition Televisions

When we decided to bring big screen high-definition TV’s into the store several years back, we decided we had to have Mitsubishi.  They started the big screen revolution years ago and they are still leaders in the big screen high-definition TV market today.  Mitsubishi makes some of the finest big screen HD TV’s available and we have a good display of Mitsubishi’s DLP™ projection and LCD flat screen HD TV’s.  Mitsubishi’s proprietary technology produces amazing clarity and color – you won’t believe your eyes!

We also felt it was important to be able to show our customers the range of picture quality they could experience with their new HD TV.  At considerable expense, we installed high-definition programming and the necessary wiring on each of our TVs so a customer could see just how good high-definition television is.  We also have basic cable attached to the TVs as well as standard, upconverting DVDs and a 1080p demo disk.

With basic cable and HD programming available, we can show you the best and the worst picture you’ll experience on your new TV.  This is important because most stores just show you how good the picture can be, but they don’t show you how disappointed you might be if you don’t get the right programming and connect the TV correctly.

Many people buy a new HD TV and think that just because they bought an HD TV, they will have HD picture quality, but there is a lot more to it than that.  To get the best performance out of a new big screen HD TV you have to have a good source of programming such as cable or satellite with an HD programming package or an upconverting DVD or Blue Ray® HD DVD player.  You also have use the correct cables and know how to properly connect them as well as how to configure your electronic equipment to work with your new HD TV.   Everything you need to get a great HD picture is readily available, but you need to understand everything you’ll need and how to get it setup correctly.
